Welcome to Fallout: Cyre

War.

War never changes. The Great Wyrms waged war to control the Prophecy. The ancient Giants waged war to gather slaves and wealth. The Daelkyr waged war for control over the pristine landscape for them to pervert. But war never changes.

The Last war was still waged over the resources that could be acquired. Only this time, the spoils of war were also its weapons: Magical Artifacts

For these resources Karnathi undead would battle Warforged. Aerenal mercenaries would annex southern Cyre. And the Five Nations would dissolve into quarreling, bickering, nation states bend on controlling the last remaining resources of Khorvaire.

In 994 YK, the storm of Last War had come. In two brief hours most of Cyre was reduced to cinders. And from the ashes of magical devastation a new civilization would struggle to arise.

But foreseeing tragic events of Cyre 24 years in previously by the great seers, a few were placed in a 'Vault' - a magically created pocket dimension. Your family was part of that group that entered that Vault. It was your job to protect the greatest tomes of Cyre and House Cannith, notably the secrets of the creation forges, from those who would use them against Cyre. A generation has lived without knowledge of the outside world.

Life in the vault is about to change........

Character Creation

Starting Level 5th 6th.
Normal Starting Wealth (9,000 13,000 GP). Talk to me about custom items or ones that require any character in "Other Restrictions" to create.Been in a vault or 30 years, so characters, most of them young, could have been born outside of the vault, but most have probably been born inside your whole life. Cyre was a nation of high culture, technothaumalogical advancement, and dashing heroes, your may want your characters to reflect this motif.

Other Restrictions: Talk to me about Warforged, Druids, Rangers, Psionic Characters, Incarnum, Shadowcasters, Binders, "Savage" races (Orcs, Goblinoids, Kobolds, etc), and anything with an ECL>0, and any "special" requirements you need to fill for a PrC you plan on taking. This by *no* means I will be more inclined to disallow these characters, I just want to make sure you've considered the
ramification these characters have in this campaign.
